My experience at James River Massage!
Hi beauties!
One of the things that I mentioned months ago was that I wanted to get massages more often. More often would mean more than once every 2-3 years!! lol! Although I have been reading about spas and doing some research for good places in my area, I just have not made the time to go. Well that all changed today when I received a gift certificate to go to James River Massage...thanx mom and Poppa Daniel and Nani for coordinating the entire thing! I was talking about going for my birthday and my wish came true! ;)
When I called to make the appointment, I mentioned that I would like to have aromatherapy incorporated into my massage. When I arrived, to my delight, there was a display of various essential oils for me to choose. I was thrilled!
I chose the relaxation oil blend which was a mix of lavender and other essential oils. My massage therapist added the oil to the diffuser and also put a few drops on a kleenex that she neatly tucked under the sheet near my head. I liked this technique because the room was infused with the relaxing aroma and I also enjoyed a concentrated amount near my head during the massage.
Beauties, you all need to run and get a massage right away if you haven't had one in the last few months! I left relaxed yet rejuvenated. The massage therapist was super sweet and made the experience very enjoyable as well as effective. I am looking forward to my next visit which I promise myself will not be 2 years from now - more like 2 months!
Until next time...Be Sweet! xoxo
