Drinking Water for Clear Skin!

I just saw these pictures on one of my favorite blogs, NaturalBelle, and it was such a coincedence because I woke up this morning thinking about drinking more water. Drinking water not only helps our insides, it helps our skin look flawless as well. This holiday season especially when we are drinking more wine and champaigne than usual, remember to hydrate with water to maintain good health and flawless skin.

Planning for the New Year!

I was looking at pictures from shows that we participated in over the Spring and Summer of 2011 and started thinking of the shows we are considering for 2012. I truly believe that we should enjoy the present moment and not get too ahead of ourselves that we miss what is important right now and I also believe, at the same time, it is important to plan for the future and make new goals for the new year. Over the next few weeks, we will be mapping out where we will be setting up for Spring and Summer Festivals for 2012 and I am super excited about it!

Have you thought about your goals for 2012?

The 10 Secrets in Life

It's Friday and we are all anxious to start our weekend and do all the things we do in our "spare" time! As we head into the last weekend before Christmas I want to share something I found a few years ago that helped me remember the important things in life.

REMEMBER THE 10 SECRETS IN LIFE

1. Everything you need to be happy is inside of you.
2. The purpose of life is for you to grow into the best human being you can be.
3. Change is inevitable, so stop resisting and surrender to life’s flow.
4. All obstacles are lessons in disguise-honor them and learn from them.
5. Your mind creates your experience of reality, so make your mind your friend.
6. Fear will steal your aliveness-make your courage bigger than your fear.
7. You must love yourself before you can truly give love or receive love from anyone else.
8. All relationships are your mirrors and all people are your teachers.
9. True freedom comes from how you respond to life and not what life does to you.
10. Whatever the question, love is the answer.

Aromatherapy to Combat Holiday Blues

The Holiday Blues…

The holidays bring on many emotions. Some are very excited while there are others that are sad and lonely or mourning a loss of a loved one. Essential oils can help alleviate some of your holiday blues and the emotional challenges that can come with the season.

ROSE – has the ability to heal the heart of deep wounds. Rose is the flower of Love and compassion. (Try Queen Esther’s Rose Bath found at our Etsy store – www.etsy.com/shop/SweetTrinity).

JASMINE – makes you feel beautiful, comfortable with whom you are, and it melts away anxieties and relaxes you.

BERGAMOT – like Rose, Bergamot helps to heal the heart, it also cleanses the mind when it is congested with thoughts that don’t allow you to grow.

FRANKINCENSE – heals old wounds, deep forgiveness, relieves a tight chest and alleviates that feeling of being overwhelmed with worries and restlessness.

Use these oils in your daily routine…

There are several easy ways to incorporate aromatherapy into your daily routine that can greatly alleviate these holiday blues. They have a beneficial physical and emotional effect.

Use Aromatherapy in Your Daily Shower

Put 3 to 5 drops of Essential Oil on a washcloth.
Place the washcloth on your chest.
Allow the heat of the shower to release the vapors and breathe in deeply.

Use Aromatherapy in Your Daily Bath

Place 3-5 drops of Essential Oil in a couple of tablespoons of salt or use our Dead Sea Salts (www.etsy.com/shop/SweetTrinity).
As the bath water is running pour the mixture into the bath
Let the salt dissolve and soak for 15-20 minutes

Use Aromatherapy diluted in your carrier oil

Place 15 drops of the Essential Oil you need into 1oz. of body oil or lotion or try our Aloe Vera Body Oil (www.etsy.com/shop/SweetTrinity).
Rub it on your body after showering to moisturize your skin

Use an Aromatherapy Burner and Fill a Whole Room with the Pleasant Aroma

Place water and 3-5 drops of Essential Oil in the Aromatherapy Burner holder
Light a candle and place that under the cup filled with your Essential Oil drops
Let the vapors fill the room

We are wishing you all a peaceful and joyous holiday season!

The Power of Prayer

This blog is dedicated to providing useful information about natural beauty products and to also answer questions and provide education about Sweet Trinity Aromatherapy products. At the same time, when something is placed on my heart to share with our readers, I feel I must share.

Sometimes the sun can be shining and rain will still fall. I see that as God's glory being all around us but someone still experiencing pain or sorrow. When you are dealing with pain and disappointment, I would recommend prayer. Prayer puts you in a place of releasing what you are holding inside and connecting you with the solution. The power of prayer can not be overlooked! Although I wish no one would be hurt or go through sorrow, the Bible tells us that the rain falls on the just and unjust so we will at some time in our lives go through pain. When you do, remember the power of prayer.

The Beauty of Roses!

Nani sent me the prettiest picture of roses near her school today. Roses are near and dear to our hearts because they remind us of my grandmother and Nani's great-grandmother Queen Esther who kept roses in her yard. Roses are also the key ingredient of one of our products: Queen Esther's Rose Bath.

Enjoy and Be Sweet!
